Turriff Academy has a thriving school library open to both staff and pupils from Monday to Thursday, including morning breaktime and lunchtime.

The library is a vibrant hub used by staff and pupils for reading, research, senior study, careers guidance, and future planning. It also hosts games, clubs, and meetings. Pupils can access library resources both online and in person using their YoungScot card.

Faye Craib, our School Librarian, is always happy to help with any queries and actively promotes a love of reading in many ways, supporting both teachers and pupils!

The library is well-stocked with a wide range of materials, including junior and young adult fiction, dyslexia-friendly books, speedy reads, graphic novels, adult fiction, non-fiction, local studies, careers resources, SQA study guides, and magazines.

We’re proud to share that the library has recently achieved Core Accreditation from the Scottish Book Trust, and Turriff Academy is now officially recognised as a Reading School.
