Becoming a member
Membership of Aberdeenshire Libraries is available to people of all ages and abilities, who work, live, or study in Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen City, Moray, and Angus.
You can join in person at your local library, when proof of identity is required (such as a driving licence, bill, etc).
You can also join as an Online Member by continuing to the registration form clicking 'I Accept' at the bottom of this page.
An Online Membership** at Aberdeenshire Libraries will give you immediate access to all our Digital Services.
You can join from birth, but those under the age of 16 years will need permission from a parent or carer, who must take responsibility for items borrowed on the card.
**When completing the online joining form please keep a record of your PIN number as you will need this to login to your account.
