It is Book Week Scotland time; a national celebration of reading and Scottish authors.
Once again we have another fantastic line-up of events including author talks, poetry recital and a creative writing workshop too.
If you are you a budding writer join Louise Welsh for our Book Week Scotland creative writing workshop at Inverurie Library. Louise is a Professor of Creative Writing at University of Glasgow and will have lots of hints, tips and advice to improve your writing skills.
A highly successful author of nine novels including The Cutting Room, The Plague Times Trilogy and The Second Cut, she has also written short stories, opera libretti, sound art, radio, stage plays and is editor of Yonder Awa.
This workshop is suitable for all levels. No creative writing experience required.
Booking is recommended as spaces are limited.
