Curricular-Resources Information

Resource Request App

Resources can be requested include Curricular Kits, Artefacts, Educational Resources, Reading Group Collections, Storytelling Kits and Early Years Resources such as Early Years Collection, Story Sacks and Large Format Storybooks.

You can request a maximum of 4 Kits plus any other resources after that, if requesting for a school it is a maximum of 10 Kits. All Kits are issued for 12 weeks, but can be renewed if required.

Reading Group and Primary Reading Group Collections

Aberdeenshire Libraries supports reading together in classrooms or as part of a Reading Group for young people.

Early Years Collections

Our Early Years Collections are small topic based boxes containing a mixture of books, puzzles, games, soft toys and artefacts.

Storysacks

Storysacks are fabric bags containing a picture book, fact book, and other resources relating to the story.

Artefacts and Educational Resources

We have a number of items such as artefacts, toys, soft toys, games, puppets, musical instruments that are available for loan.
