Join us for our Aberdeenshire Archive series with Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Archives team.
As part of our Book Week Scotland programme explore police and court records from the North East of Scotland with Katy from Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Archives.
This talk will cover wanted posters and other records from Grampian Police’s archives, and local police court cases from burghs around Aberdeenshire.

The archives staff will have copies of their “The Written Record: 50 Treasures from Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Archives” book available for sale on the day, priced at £12. The book tells the story of fifty documents – spanning from 1179 to the present day – chosen from the 800-year-old-collections of Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City.
