This Bookbug session is for REGISTERED CHILDMINDERS only with children under 5 years of age.

Please book one space per child.

Come along and join our session of songs, rhymes and a story for you and your little ones (aged 0-5). Doors open at 9:30am and children can have their snack before the Bookbug session which will start nearer to 10am.

Sessions are for pre-school children with a parent or carer.

The session will include elements of Makaton signing, for example the Hello/Goodbye song and 1 rhyme. As staff develop their skills they will be adding more signed songs and rhymes.

PLEASE NOTE that only one booking is required per household (i.e. 1 Adult and child/ren) attending this event.

We would still accept walk-ins but we are limiting numbers that can attend due to space in which the session takes place.

Library led book group who meet up on a monthly basis to discuss their latest read. Titles are chosen by the group from the library services extensive collection.

Join Aberdeen-based crime author Harry Fisher at Aboyne Library for an engaging session on his compelling thrillers. His current series is set in Edinburgh, featuring Detective Melissa (Mel) Cooper. 

Known for fast-paced plots and sharp dialogue, Harry will share his insights into the world of writing and publishing crime fiction.
