We want to help take the pressure off the NHS by providing free blood pressure checks in our sports venues and libraries across Aberdeenshire.  Our Health and Wellbeing Instructors are advisors and can provide some basic lifestyle advice and signpost you for further support.  They will also be encouraging everyone to participate in home blood pressure monitoring to put you back in the driver's seat and save lives.

Open to everyone, CodeBase Unplugged is a networking event for professionals working in, or interested in, tech startups.

This event is for anyone looking to learn more about what Techscaler is and what it has to offer the tech sector of Aberdeenshire.

This event aims to bring together entrepreneurs, techies, creatives, students, investors, and other regional stakeholders to network and share ideas. It is open to individuals from all stages of the startup journey, from early-stage startups to established companies, as well as employees and other business professionals looking to engage with more startup activity and looking to learn more about the type of Techscaler support available across Aberdeenshire.

Live Life Aberdeenshire Libraries are once again taking part in the Grampian Wellbeing Festival.  Our health and wellbeing events provide an opportunity for all ages to engage with other people, develop friendships and try new activities.

Come along and join our session of songs, rhymes and a story for you and your little ones (aged 0-5) from 10.30am to 11.00am.

Sessions are for pre-school children with a parent or carer, older siblings are welcome to attend during school holidays.

PLEASE NOTE that one booking is only required per household (i.e. 1 Adult and children) attending this event.

We would still accept walk-ins but we are limiting numbers that can attend due to the space in which the session takes place.

Join us for an informal adult craft group where people bring their own crafts to work on, share ideas and have a chat.

Booking is required either online or at the library issue desk.  N.B. You will be booking for numerous sessions at a time 2nd April - 17th December.

A weekly crafting group for adults, meeting every Tuesday from 4pm-6pm.

This is a relaxed and informal crafting group for adults of all ages and abilities where you can bring along your current craft project to work on (be it knitting, crochet, needle or craftwork etc.), share ideas and techniques, chat and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee.
