Peter Anson was born in Southsea, Portsmouth ; however he lived in Scotland for the best part of thirty-four years. He spent almost twenty-four years in Banffshire, and ten years in Fife, living in a variety of coastal fishing villages and towns. Boats, harbours, fishermen and their fishing methods ; he studied drew, and wrote about them all. This book gives an insight into his life on the east coast of Scotland , and his lifetime achievements.
