Interviewed by Fred Milne and Jim Presly on 8/11/07Summary: Nicky is from Inverurie. He speaks about his early life, and working as a train driver on 'Meldrum Meg', which is what the trains on the branch line from Meldrum to Inverurie were called. He describes the journey and the goods he transported. The branch line was cut in 1966 as a result of the Beeching Report, and Nicky drove the last train out of Meldrum on the last day of December 1966.
