Join us for an online introduction to a unique community banner-making project. This artist-led textile project has been inspired by the early mediaeval illuminated and earliest written example of Scots Gaelic, known as the Book of Deer.
During the summer of 2022 it is hoped that the book will return to the north east as part of a temporary exhibition. The display of the textile banners created by those who participate in this project would support this momentous occasion
Participants in this event will hear more about the Book of Deer, the banner-making initiative and how you can get involved in this exciting community activity.
