This year our Book Week Scotland programme is a combination of live and virtual events with some of your favourite local authors.

From author talks to creative writing, and even a Whodunnit too!

In this talk Gordon will outline some of the important new research on the Picts of Northeast Scotland that has led to the new book ‘Picts: Scourge of Rome, Rulers of the North’ by Gordon Noble and Nicholas Evans.

This is the first book to combine up-to-date knowledge on both the history and archaeology of the Picts from their first mention in the Roman period to their disappearance in the Viking Age.’

Gordon will have copies of his book with him for sale at the event.  Please note the transaction is between you and the author not with Live Life Aberdeenshire.
