This walks booklet is an updated version of "Walks roon aboot Buchan" published by the Central Buchan Tourism Group. Much of the information for compiling these walks was given by local people. Walks have been chosen for those who prefer shorter walks with interesting or historical features. The Peterhead and Buchan area has much to offer visitors and locals alike. From Peterhead, Buchan stretches up to encompass the village of St Combs in the north, sweeps down and round taking in the village of New Deer to the West, Hatton and Cruden Bay to the south and coming full circle with Boddam just south of Peterhead.
