Mini drama series following the lives of four young English people living on opposite sides of the Atlantic. During the tyrannical reign of King Charles II, Ned (Joe Dempsie), Abe (Jamie Dornan), Beth (Freya Mavor) and Hope (Alice Englert) become trapped by the powers of the monarchy and the King of both England and New England. As wars are fought and blood is shed, the people try to save their country from the oppression that the King has created.
