This book was written to be a stand-alone book giving an insight into the history in and around Fraserburgh (aka The Broch). The book includes Fraserburgh and the villages of Rosehearty, Sandhaven, Rathen, Cairnbulg, Inverallochy, and St. Combs, everywhere roughly within a five mile radius of Fraserburgh. However, some items of historical importance as far away as New Aberdour, New Pitsligo, Strichen, Mintlaw, Crimond, and Rattray have also been included.
