Jessica Biel, Jake Gyllenhaal and James Marsden head the cast of this American comedy film following a small-town waitress who travels to Washington, D.C. after an accident. With her behaviour changing drastically after being shot in the head by a nail gun, Alice (Biel) chooses to leave her partner Scott (Marsden) and travel to D.C. where she enlists the help of Congressman Howard Birdwell (Gyllenhaal) in her campaign to help those with similar injuries to hers.
