In 'Flat Tyre', Trevor's bus has a flat tyre and Dilys is stranded, while 'The Great Inventor' features Sam taking part in an inventors' contest. Finally, in the 20-minute special 'Snow Business', James, Sarah and Norman go sledging on Christmas Eve, only to be stranded on some cracked ice.
