Adaptation of the classic tale co-written and directed by Josh Henderson. Set in 19th century Edinburgh, the film tells the story of a small dog called Bobby who belongs to local policeman John Gray (Thomas Lockyer). When Gray dies, Bobby refuses to leave his master's graveside and is looked after by gravedigger James Brown (James Cosmo) until he forms a friendship with a young boy called Ewan (Oliver Golding). However, when a new law comes into place banning stray dogs, Ewan has to do everything he can to keep Bobby safe. The cast also includes Gina McKee, Ardal O'Hanlon and Christopher Lee.
